Who we are

BootLoop Co. (“we,” “us”) operates bootloopco.com and provides device repair, customization, sourcing, and setup services. Questions about this policy can be sent to thepeople@bootloopco.com.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us, primarily through the service request form:

• Contact details — name, email address, and phone number.
• Request details — device category, brand, model, the problem you describe, desired service, optional budget and deadline, and your preferred contact method.
• Correspondence — any follow-up messages you exchange with us.

Form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms, our website hosting provider's form service, and are delivered to us for handling your request.

How we use it

• To respond to your service request and carry out the work you approve.
• To keep records of quotes, approvals, and completed work.
• To improve our services and this website.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party marketing.

Devices and data during service

Repair and setup work can require access to a device you hand to us. We access only what the job requires, and we recommend backing up and, where possible, signing out of sensitive accounts before service. Ask us before drop-off if you need help preparing a device.

Analytics

This site does not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts, and it sets no cookies of its own. Our hosting provider keeps standard server request logs, which we do not use to build a profile of you. If we add analytics later, this section will say so before it goes live.

Data retention

We keep service records — the quote, what you approved, and what we did — for 7 years, which covers the warranty period and our tax and accounting obligations. Enquiries that never become a job are kept for 24 months and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless a record is one we are required to keep.

Your choices

• You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• You can ask us to correct or delete your information, subject to records we must keep.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
