BootLoop / Advanced Lab

Advanced Repair Lab

When a parts swap isn’t enough.

BootLoop Advanced Repair Lab is for board-level faults, HDMI reconstruction, damaged pads and traces, no-power devices, selected data-recovery paths and specialty storage work that require deeper diagnosis and bench repair.

What belongs here

Advanced repair starts after ordinary fixes stop making sense.

These jobs are evaluated by fault and board condition—not sold as one-size-fits-all repairs.

Microsoldering + Board Diagnosis

We isolate board-level faults and repair supported components, connectors and circuits when the device is economically worth deeper work.

  • No power and short-circuit diagnosis
  • Charging and power-path faults
  • Damaged board connectors
  • Liquid-damage board faults
  • Component-level repair when justified

HDMI + Port Reconstruction

We repair supported HDMI and board-mounted port failures, including reconstruction when surrounding pads or traces are damaged.

  • PS5 HDMI repair starting at $185
  • Connector removal and replacement
  • Signal-path inspection
  • Pad/trace reconstruction when required
  • Post-repair video and function testing

Trace + Pad Repair

We rebuild damaged conductive paths when torn pads, lifted traces or previous repair attempts prevent a normal component replacement.

  • Prior-repair damage
  • Lifted or missing pads
  • Broken traces
  • Localized reconstruction
  • Custom quote for severe multilayer damage

Data + specialty work

Sometimes the goal is access—not restoring the device forever.

A damaged device can be uneconomical to fully repair and still contain photos, documents or account data worth recovering.

Advanced data recovery may use board-level repair solely to regain temporary access. Recoverability depends on the exact failure, storage condition, encryption, account access and prior damage. Data recovery is never guaranteed.

NAND + Storage Upgrades

Selected iPhone storage upgrades are advanced modifications, not standard manufacturer repairs.

Supported jobs can involve NAND removal, programming, reballing, installation, restore and capacity validation. Availability and pricing depend on exact generation, capacity target and validated workflow.

What to expect

Diagnosis before promises.

01

Intake

Tell us the model, failure, prior repair history and what outcome matters most—device function, data access or both.

02

Bench diagnosis

Advanced faults generally begin with the $60 diagnostic so we can isolate the failure and inspect board condition.

03

Approval + repair

You receive the recommended repair path and any condition-dependent limitations before the quoted advanced work proceeds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Advanced FAQ

Direct answers to the questions customers most often ask before starting this type of request.

Can BootLoop fix a PS5 HDMI port?

Yes. PS5 HDMI reconstruction is an Advanced Lab service, with normal HDMI repair currently anchored from $185. Severe pad, trace or prior-repair damage can change the final quote.

What does board-level repair mean?

Board-level repair works on the logic board itself rather than replacing an entire assembly. It can include connector replacement, microsoldering, circuit diagnosis, component work and reconstruction of damaged conductive paths.

Can you recover data from a dead phone?

Sometimes. A damaged phone may need temporary or board-level repair solely to regain access to data. Success depends on the failure and storage condition, so data recovery cannot be guaranteed.

Do advanced repairs require a diagnostic?

Usually. No-power, liquid-damage and board-level faults generally begin with the $60 diagnostic so the failure and repairability can be assessed before a larger quote is approved.
